Mike Butler has been a practicing attorney in Michigan since 1980. After spending the first years of his career in general practice, he focused on the area of litigation, primarily personal injury, in the late 80s.
A graduate of Detroit Catholic Central High School, and Oakland University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Politcal Science, Mr. Butler earned his JD degree at Wayne State University Law School.
He is currently part of the firm of Bernstein and Bernstein (not Sam), in Southfield.
Mr. Butler currently practices in all areas of civil litigation.
Mr. Butler has also worked as an arbitrator, plaintiff and neutral, a case evaluator in Wayne and Genesee County Circuit Courts and 36th District Court, and a facilitator/mediator. He has completed the 40-hour SCAO mediator training and is on the Court-approved mediator list in several Michigan Counties.
