On Tuesday, February 11, 2020 the Detroit Catholic Central Bar Association met at the school. Mass in the school chapel was followed by dinner and a program in the "cafetorium".
Jim Finn, '43 was honored, posthumously with the Hon. Richard Hathaway Distinguished Lawyer Award. Judge Robert Colombo '68, was the evening's keynote speaker.

It was my privilege to lead the organization for several years.
Among my records is a disk of photos from the first Shamrock Bar meeting in 2008. It seems like yesterday. It was sad to realize that several of the attendees, including Judge William Hathaway, Greg Marx, Bob Larin and the event's speaker, Brooks Patterson (who taught at CC at one time) have passed away. And we all look older----well most of us, anyway.
