TO THE MASTER-JUDGE KAYE TERTZAG

  • Judge Kaye Tertzag is one of my heroes. One of the first facilitators, he would give out these refrigerator magnets at his hearings. Though the Judge died in 2009, I still have this magnet on my refrigerator 10 years later. Judge Tertzag and I did not agree on some very big political issues, but he was the professional embodiment of his 3Ps: Be Prompt, Be Prepared, Be Polite.

Detroit GT


  • Detroit GT is the website of artist Christopher Gorski. A lifetime Detroiter and certified "Car nut", he studied at the premiere College of Art and Design in Detroit - the Center for Creative Studies (CCS). One hand drawn shirt in high school has grown into a full line of apparel and merchandise celebrating Detroit and other uniquely Michigan locales.

    His Detroit Landmark graphic art pieces are remarkable. Some are shown below, and I have 8 of them framed on my office walls (see blog post).

    The prints can be purchased through the site or at my favorite store, Art Is In Market in Laurel Park Place in Livonia.

LEX FUGIT-HOME OFFICE EDITION

Office mate

Many law firms were caught flat-footed by the Governor's shutdown order of March 23, 2020 and laid off staff.


We were not only prepared, but added staff.


Pictured below is the newest member of the Landry, Mazzeo & Dembinski team, Rosco.


He has been at my side (or at least as close as social distancing and his state of consciousness allows) in my home office every day.  And just because he is asleep on the job, in a comfy old armchair(the best in the office), don't be misled--he is not a former judge.
